New parking-lots for persons with movement disorders
New parking lots for disabled persons have been opened in Old Riga so that people with movement disorders could visit events in the old town and park their transport as closely to structural units of Riga City Council as possible.
The parking lots have been opened in Aspazijas Boulevard next to the Latvian National Opera and near the Town Hall: in Kungu Street before Kaļķu Street and in Kaļķu Street before Town Hall Square.
The parking lots have been organised by the Riga City Council Transport Department and municipal LLC "Rīgas satiksme" in co-operation with the public and the Advisory Council of NGOs of disabled persons.
